Beef Stew with Fresh Whole Wheat Sourdough
As we dig our heels in for the first major snow storm of the season, it's necessary to keep our strength up and our energy resources high. Enter beef stew, a perfect boost for said resources. I used some cipollini onions from our CSA share, along with the carrots, added a side of freshly baked bread and a glass of red wine and knew I would be well prepared to face blizzard conditions. That's right, my Mama didn't raise no fool. In case you feel the need for some blizzard prep yourself, here is the recipe I loosely followed.
